Objective To understand the treatment and influencing factors of mental disorder patients in Ya 'an city, improve the utilization quality of mental health services in Ya 'an city. Methods A stratified cluster random sampling method was adopted to select 9,000 residents in 6 counties and 2 districts of Ya 'an city, and 8 876 residents were actually investigated. A self-compiled mental health utilization questionnaire was used to investigate the 1,127 patients with mental disorders who conform the diagnostic criteria of DSM-5. The influencing factors were analyzed by 2 test and Logistics binary regression. Results 176 was sought treatment?, the rate was 15.62%(The standardized rate was 15.61%).Treatment rate bottom three diseases were compulsive and related disorders (0.00%), traumatic and stress-related disorders (6.52%), substance and addiction disorders (7.92%).41 patients (praying to Buddha, consulting relatives and friends) who did not seek medical treatment but adopted self-help methods: 23 cases of Han nationality and 18 cases of ethnic minorities.Rural residence (OR=2.79, P < 0.01), family history (OR=0.01, P < 0.01), and sought treatment intention (OR=0.33, P < 0.01) were the treatment rate influencing factors .Conclusion The treatment rate of mental disorders patients in Ya 'an is low, especially the compulsion and related disorders, trauma and stress-related disorders, substance related and addiction disorders. Psychiatric inpatient and out-patient treatment were the main methods of treatment. Living in rural areas, negative family history and no intention to see a doctor affect the treatment of patients with mental disorders. |
