Objective To understand the current status and development trend of research on the subject of executive function in overweight or obesity, and to grasp the current research hotspots in this field. Methods A total of 1321 literatures, from 2010 to 2021, related to executive function in overweight or obesity were collected in the core database of Web of Science were selected as samples, and knowledge map was drawn by CiteSpace and VOSviewer. The visualization analysis was performed on the number of literatures, countries or regions, institutions, keywords co-occurrence, clustering and emergent words. Results ①From the trend of literatures, The number of papers published on overweight and obesity and executive function from 2010 to 2021 was divided into three stages. The number of papers published on overweight and obesity and executive function increased rapidly from 2010 to 2014 and from 2017 to 2021, and increased steadily from 2014 to 2017. ②From the perspective of countries or regions, a total of 64 countries and regions participated in the research. The United States has the largest number of documents, the most frequent cooperation and exchanges with other countries and the largest influence, so it occupies the core position in this field. ③From the perspective of research institutions, the cooperation between institutions is close. Illinois university has produced the most literatures, and has formed a certain size of research group with close cooperation with many institutions, which are developed. ④From the perspective of keywords, it mainly involves the content of dietary behavior research, prevention and intervention research, risk factor assessment, analysis of different population characteristics. Conclusion Studies of executive function in overweight or obesity have been developing rapidly, attracting international attention and covering a wide range of areas. |
