【Abstract】 Objective To understand the depression, anxiety and social support level of senior three students during the COVID-19 epidemic period, so as to provide references for targeted psychological intervention. Methods Random sampling was used to evaluate the depression, anxiety and the level of social support of 701 senior three students through the Generalized Anxiety Scale (GAD-7), Patient Health Questionnaire (PHQ-9) and Social Support Scale (PSSS). Partial correlation analysis was used to investigate the correlation between PSSS score and GAD-7 and PHQ-9 scores. Multiple linear regression was used to analyze the relationship between PSSS and PHQ-9 scores. Results Total PSSS scores, family support scores and other support scores of female students were higher than that of male students, with statistical significance (t=-3.431, -3.048, -4.482, P<0.01).There were significant differences in GAD-7, PSSS total scores and scores of family support and other support among senior high school students of different subject combinations (F=1.992, 2.660, 2.074, 3.138, P<0.05 or 0.01). The PHQ-9 scores was negatively correlated with the total scores of PSSS and the scores of all dimensions (r=-0.329, -0.283, -0.284, -0.284, P<0.01). PSSS family support scores, friends support scores negative pretest PHQ-9 scores (B=-0.213, -0.308, P<0.01). Conclusion The incidence of depression and anxiety among high school students in isolation during the epidemic period was higher. Students with higher perceptive social support scores had lower levels of depression. Improving students' perceptive social support levels might help alleviate their depression. |
