【Abstract】 Objective To analyze the mental health status of middle school students under the normal prevention and control of COVID-19 and its influencing factors, so as to provide reference for the intervention and management of their mental problems. Methods From March 7 to 21, 2021, a stratified random sampling method was used to select 19 352 students from 17 schools in 4 districts and 8 counties of Linyi City, Shandong Province. The students' basic data were collected with a self-designed questionnaire, and their mental health was assessed with SCL-90. Using independent sample t-test, one-way ANOVA and stepwise regression to analyze the influencing factors of mental health status of middle school students. Results ①6350 (32.81%) middle school students were found to have mental health problems. ②There were significant differences in SCL-90 factor scores and total average scores among middle school students of different gender, classmate relationship, whether they had friends, whether they were worried about the epidemic, and whether they had academic pressure(P<0.01); The differences of SCL-90 factor scores and total average scores of middle school students with different daily mobile entertainment hours, average daily sleep hours and exercise frequency were statistically significant(P<0.01). ③Regression analysis showed that female, classmates are not in harmony with each other, there is no good friend, and long mobile entertainment time(β= 0.096, 0.183, 0.064, 0.232, P<0.01)are the risk factors for mental health of middle school students. Conclusion The incidence of mild psychological problems among middle school students is relatively high under the normalization of epidemic prevention and control, while female and classmates are not in harmony with each other, there is no good friend, and long mobile entertainment time have a negative impact on middle school students' mental health. |
