Background Non-suicidal self injury is a serious public health problem worldwide and an important risk factor for attempted suicide and suicide. The incidence of non-suicidal self injury among adolescents is 27.4% in China. Objective To systematically evaluate the psychological experience of non suicidal self injuring adolescents and fully understand their emotional needs, so as to provide theoretical basis for formulating targeted intervention strategies for adolescents.Methods Totally eleven databases including Cochrane Library、Embase、Pubmed、Psycfo、Web of Science、CINAHL、Medline,CNKI,Wanfang,VIP and CBM were searched by computer to collect qualitative researches on the inner needs and real experience of adolescents. The retrieval time was from database established to August 30,2022.Results A total of 10 studieswere included,41 specifi research results were extracted , similar results were summarized and combined to form 10 new categories , and five integrated results were synthesized, which were Interpersonal conflict, academic pressure and self thought struggle, self injuring behavior with intertwined inner emotions, love can overcome helplessness, and adjust and seek positive responses..Conclusion Parents and medical staff should timely identify the negative emotions and emotional needs of young people, provide psychological counseling and social support in a timely manner, positively motivate them, and improve their coping methods. |
