Pearson correlation analysis was used to test the correlation, and SPSS macro program Process 3.3 was used to test the mediating effect model. Results: Mobile phone addiction was positively correlated with anxiety symptoms (r=0.474, P<0.01), loneliness (r=0.387, P<0.01), and loneliness was positively correlated with anxiety symptoms (r=0.541, P <0.01). In the relationship between mobile phone addiction and anxiety symptoms, loneliness plays a partial mediating role, and the mediating effect accounts for 34.29% of the total effect. Conclusion: Mobile phone addiction can directly and positively predict the anxiety symptoms of college students, and indirectly affect their anxiety symptoms through loneliness.
