Prof. Yutao XIANG, Ph.D. supervisor, and registered psychiatrist, currently serving as the Head of the Department of Public Health and Health Services Management at the Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Macau.
He is a member of the Urban Mental Health Committee of the World Psychiatric Association (WPA), the Mental Health Branch of the Chinese Medical Promotion Association, and an Overseas Member of the Psychiatry Branch of the Chinese Medical Association.
Since 2007, he has led a clinical research team that has published over 650 SCI papers in international journals. The total citation exceeds 31,100. His H-Index is 73.
He has received over ten international research awards, including the "Outstanding Young Psychiatrist Award in Developing Countries" from the World Psychiatric Association.
In the 2023 list of "World's Top 2% Scientists" published by Stanford University and Elsevier, he ranked first among selected Chinese psychiatrists.
In the "Academic Influence Rankings of Research Achievements in the Field of Chinese Mental Health Research from 2012 to 2021" released by the global scholar database, he holds the top position.
His research focuses on mood disorders, COVID-19-related mental disorders, evidence-based psychiatry, and clinical research in the field of psychiatry.
