      Objective To explore the willingness of mental health workers to participate in the on-site psychological crisis intervention and analyze their real feelings in COVID-19 epidemic, so as to improve their enthusiasm towards epidemic psychological intervention.Methods Based on semi-structured interview outline, the phenomenological analysis method in qualitative research using face-to-face in-depth interview was carried out involving 10 mental health workers in a third class hospital in Mianyang City, then Colaizzi analysis was used to collate and analyze the data.Results The subjects of mental health workers' willingness to participate in the psychological intervention included the related factors of willingness drivers and willingness barriers. Factors of willingness drivers included ability of self-psychological adjustment, the ability of professional intervention, sense of professional responsibility, and desire for crisis on-site intervention experience. Factors of willingness barriers included a lack of knowledge and capacity related to COVID-19, family reasons and psychological fears.Conclusion Mental health workers have high willingness to participate in epidemic psychological crisis intervention, however, it is also necessary to carry out targeted training of epidemic prevention and control, implement psychological supervision and establish a security system for the workers.
